Count Down to Christmas Begins

So the count down begins. I have a million things left to do before we head home next Thursday. Tomorrow my husband and Natalie are driving have way to South Bend to pick up Natalie's friend and she will be with us until we come to Dec 23rd when we come up to South Bend.

I am so happy for Natalie that she will have someone to hang out with for this next week and this also means I have helpers when it comes to baking, cleaning and packing. Yes I am using child labor and I am proud of it. They will be paid well in cookies. LoL

All in all everything and everyone is doing good. I am waiting for a couple grades to get turned in and that wont be until Monday. I am thankful that I waited to get sick until after all my finals this week. I am suffering with a darn head cold YUCK...

Here is to a good weekend of baking and relaxing.

Last Final Today

I am so flippin happy that today is my last final. Besides turning in a paper tomorrow I am finished with the darn semester at 11am. THANK GOODNESS... I really want to kick the holiday spirit into high gear. My apartment needs a maid and I need to bake a truck of cookie. I have to finish wrapping presents and get things ready to go home for Christmas.

One of Natalie's good friends is coming down on Friday and staying with us until Dec 23rd. We are all real excited. They are going ice skating and to a movie night here at the apartment. I am sure the girls will help with the baking I mean eating of the cookies.

Well I am getting ready to head out for this final and I will update on how my semester ended up in the next few days...

Nice Relaxing Day

Today was a nice relaxing day. I did a lot of nothing all day and enjoyed every minute of it. Planning our trip home for Christmas we leave two weeks from tomorrow and I am happy that I get to see my nieces and nephews they are the lights of my life besides Nate and Natalie. It is funny how children can just melt your heart. Our Disney trip is coming quickly only 25 days away. I prefer to count weeks instead of days it seems shorter. Next week is finals and then I am a free woman until Jan 1oth and let me tell you I am ready.

I think I will enjoy the rest of my evening. Night all until next time stay toasty warm and remember to make lasting memories everyday.

What a good day

Today has been a good day. I did not have to work which completely rocks. I decided to start another blog to track my Etsy store and showcase other artists and crafters as well. I am still trying to make a Christmas tree stand because I could not find one at Target and well I am too cheap to spend a lot of money on a tree stand. The tree not being up is a major bummer but I did decorate some of the house and it is starting to look good. I will be working on it again tomorrow.

I created more cute things to list on Etsy and that is what I will be doing as soon as I am done updating here. This year is coming to an end and I am just getting started on great things to come.

Snow is Falling

I am feeling much better today. Outside the snow is falling and right now everything seems okay. I have only 2 assignments and 3 exams left for the semester. I am really happy about this. I am hoping to get my tree up tomorrow. I still need to figure out how to rig a stand but I know I will manage.

I am getting more interest in my Etsy stuff which really rocks. I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon working on more stuff to list.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.......

Time just flies bye

I am sitting here realizing that another semester of college is close to ending. So I ask myself what have you accomplished so far this year. Well a lot of nothing if you ask me. I moved from South Bend to Bloomington, I have almost finished another semester at college. But I do not feel like I have accomplished much.

Maybe once my Etsy business is picks up more and I have come to accept our current path then maybe my outlook will change. I am hoping the trip to Disney in Jan. will cure some of my blues away.

I mean I like the city of Bloomington, but I miss my family, most of all the kids.

So excited

I am so excited. I just received my first custom order from Etsy. This will be sell number three and if feels great. So with this new sell today I have to make 24 die cuts tonight and finish a paper all before class tomorrow at 11:15am. This is going to be kinda tricky considering Nate is really sick and I have to work from now until 9pm tonight.

But I am super mom and wife as Natalie calls me so I guess I have to do it all LOL. Everything else is going great the semester is so close to being over and let me tell ya I am very happy about that. I think I will sit here at work and try and finish some other projects that are due in the next couple of weeks and tomorrow I will start my reflection of the year daily posts.
